How to search electoral registers

Explore the single largest Findmypast collection with approximately 220 million names of voters. The collection of electoral registers is made available online for the first time in association with the British Library as well as contribution from Explore York Libraries & Archives. You can search the records by personal name, polling district, county and constituency, as well as by keyword search to discover the history of your family home in the nineteenth and twentieth century.

You can search the Electoral Registers two different ways. You can search them all generally by going to 'Search' in your top navigation bar and then going to 'Census, Land and Surveys' this takes you to a new page and you can filter by record type on the Left Hand side.

Alternatively you can go to 'Search' on the top navigation bar and then go to 'Search A-Z of all Records' and you can search for the specific Electoral Register/Roll that you are looking for filtering by country on the left hand side.
