Find your ancestors in Cornwall, Falmouth and Penryn Dissenters' Burying Ground Registers 1808-1928

Discover more about these records

This collection comes from the custodians of an abandoned nonconformist cemetery in Falmouth, Cornwall. The site was abandoned 100 years ago, and the custodians are gradually restoring it and making the information they have discovered more accessible.

Most of the burials were in the Dissenters Burying Ground at Ponsharden. The custodians recently finished transcribing the burial registers for the site, which contain over 600 names, from sources at Cornwall Record Office and The National Archives. Until recently this information was lost, so the data is unique and is not found anywhere else.
