In addition to the U.S. Federal census materials, findmypast.com will provide access to a variety of records from across the United States, including key collections for anyone exploring their family tree. Resources will include vital records (births, marriages, and deaths) from a variety of states, each documenting important moments in the lives of our ancestors. As we continue to grow, users will be able to search records from the Revolutionary War to World War II, including materials from the Civil War, World War I, and other collections.

Over time, a variety of materials that document the immigration and migration of our ancestors, including ship’s passenger lists into New York City (Castle Garden and Ellis Island), Boston, and Philadelphia will be searchable on findmypast.com.  In addition a variety of other materials, including church records, cemetery transcriptions, court records, and other key records will gradually become available.

Findmypast.com will provide access to over 750 million records from England, Wales and Scotland, including census records, civil registration indexes (birth, marriage, and deaths), parish records, immigration records, and a variety of other sources.

Tracing your Irish roots? Findmypast.com will offer more than 10 million records from the Emerald Isle including the largest collection of Irish land records and the most extensive collection of directories, wills, obituaries, gravestone inscriptions and marriage records available anywhere online will soon be searchable. Records from Ireland will be joined by 50 million records from Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands and Papua New Guinea.
