Your gift subscription starts from the moment you redeem your unique code and ends after the specified time period, depending on the gift you received.

Unlike standard Findmypast subscriptions, your gift subscription won’t auto-renew. Shortly before your gift subscription ends, we’ll remind you that you’ll lose access to Findmypast records and features unless you become a paying subscriber. You can continue your family history journey by entering your billing details and subscribing at the end of your gift membership. If you have a 12-month gift subscription and choose to extend it into a paid membership, you'll benefit from 15% off each time you renew. For access to records and features not included in the gift subscription you've been given, you can upgrade your membership.

You can’t redeem a gift membership if you already have an active Findmypast subscription.
