What can these records tell me?

Warwickshire is a landlocked county in England. It is located in the West Midlands, with Warwick as its county town.

There are two publications currently included in this collection:

  • Historical Warwickshire, Its Legendary Lore, Traditionary Stories, and Romantic Episodes (published 1876) – Included in this text are chapters on the legends and mythical lore of Warwickshire and its romantic and historic episodes.
  • History of Coventry (published 1870) – Discover the history of the city of Coventry, the second largest city in the West Midlands. This work contains the account of Leofric and Godiva. Notable historic events and the history of significant locations within the city are detailed. Chapters are dedicated to the individual churches of Coventry and the religious communities found within the population.
