This collection currently holds three titles:

  • A Calendar Of The Feet Of Fines Relating To The County Of Huntingdon 1194-1603 – Feet of fines were documents of a fictitious suit of law created to obtain a secure transfer of land. The document recorded the final agreement (or concord), written in triplicate, between buyer and seller: two copies side by side and one copy across the bottom of the sheet (the foot of the fine).
  • The Edwardian Inventories For Huntingdonshire 1552-1553 – It consists of inventories, taken by appointed commissioners for the seizure of church goods, including ornaments, plates, jewels and vestments.
  • Visitation Of The County Of Huntingdon 1849 – A tour of inspection to regulate and register the coats of arms or nobility and gentry. The visitation was under the authority of William Camden, Clareneaux King of Arms, by his deputy, Nicholas Charles, Lancaster Herald.
