As quoted in the book, ‘We give in our Third Edition of Irish Pedigrees the Origin and Stem of the Irish Nation, and, so far as we could find, the genealogies of the families which branched from that ancient stem’.

Although this is a genealogy of Irish families, not all families from Ireland are included.
