The records span from the 16th century to present day; however, due to privacy concerns, there is a 100-year cut-off on publishing parish records.

St Thomas' Churchyard was closed when Highland Road Cemetery opened 7 November 1854. St Mary's Churchyard was closed when Kingston Cemetery opened 1 January 1856. Both churches continued to record burials in the registers.
