From today, findmypast.com is introducing a new price point for pay-per-view payments. Customers will now be able to purchase 75 units at a cost of £7.50. The units will be valid for 120 days from the date of purchase.

The new pricing plan replaces both the £5 and £10 plans. Under the new plan, customers will pay the same 10 pence per unit price as under the old £5 plan, but will now benefit from a longer expiry date (120 days, rather than 90).

Findmypast.com decided to make this change because a large number of our customers were experiencing difficulty getting their banks to authorise payment at the lower level of £5.
