These records can be searched from 1 to 10 year periods by event, date range (month/year), full or partial surname, and optionally forename. Simply follow these three easy steps:

Step 1
Select the event (Birth, Marriage or Death), and the years and quarters you want to search; also type in the surname you are looking for – enter a trailing * to search for a partial surname. You can also enter a forename if you wish.

Pressing "search" will display a list of images that contain your results. You should note that each image is listed by year, by quarter, and by the first name that appears in the image (surname and forename) to the last name that appears in the image (surname and forename). For example, if you search for James Smith, born in July, August or September 1867, providing the birth was registered in England or Wales during that quarter, the name would appear within the image titled:

Step 2
Clicking on the "view" button will open up a new window with the image(s) requested.

Please ensure that you have downloaded the DjVu viewer before viewing an image.

It is important to note that when you view an image your account will be reduced by one unit.
